Brief
To create a publication for the University of Leeds, we had to complete within a week of receiving the brief. The copy was supplied to us along with some photographs, a structure and order were to be put in place before commencing on visuals.
Solution
A modern fresh look magazine was designed by a colleague and myself we were both given spreads to work on between us within a design agency we worked for. The spreads shown here are some of the pages I worked on. This was required for a quick turnaround. We didn’t have many photographs so, in addition to the few we had, we used graphics/illustrations to make the magazine more appealing. We used bright colours throughout. Industry-standard software, Abobe InDesign was used for layout. Graphics/Illustrations created in Adobe Illustrator and photos were colour corrected in Photoshop.
